Students drive discoveries, every day

At Rochester, there’s tons of opportunities for students to get involved in research—even at the undergraduate level.

Recently, a group of students developed a 3D-bioprinting system to help replicate chemicals found in plants. “Projects like these usually take years for PhD or grad students to develop, and the fact that we’re undergrads doing this... that’s a pretty big undertaking,” said Allie Tay ’25.
